Web Site / Database Case Study – Nonprofit Association of the Midlands

Website: www.nonprofitam.org

Description: WhettStone has developed the web system portal for Nonprofit Association of the Midlands (NAM). The portal services anonymous visitors to the site, NAM Members, Preferred Partners and allows NAM to interact with backend tools. The system has a SQL database backend with information regarding over 300 members and partners within the organization.

Application Functionality: General visitors use the site for nonprofit related service information, news, career openings and to search a calendar of events. The NAM site allows possible NAM Member candidates to apply online. NAM Members and NAM Partners have the ability to securely login to the system and update profile information, suggest events to an online calendar, post careers, post news and see reporting for donations and reservations to events.

The NAM Website includes a shopping cart for anonymous visitors and members purchase products and services from NAM. The NAM administrator has an array of backend tools to manage the database and access a standard set of reports.

Coming soon! The NAM site will allow for nonprofit organizations to set-up reservation system for their organizations.
