WhettStone was recognized as an outstanding business demonstrating growth and stability by being nominated for the Millard Business Association 2007 Entrepreneurs of the Year and the 2008 Small Business of the Year awards.

As a Preferred Partner for the Nonprofit Association of the Midlands (NAM), WhettStone works directly with NAM and many of its members. We worked with executives from Leadership Omaha, NAM and the Omaha Community Foundation to develop "The Nonprofit Directory" enabling technology to strengthen and transform our community. We have also worked with Mammel and eBay Foundation Grants to provide Web-based assistance to small nonprofit organizations. WhettStone is an annual sponsor of the Nonprofit Summit and a member of the NAM Technology Committee.

WhettStone has volunteered to develop a website for the “Firefighters & Police Appreciation Day” event taking place on June 15, 2010.
